Before I received my bachelor degree in 2001, I had worked as a financial consultant in the area of financial analysis and trading strategies. Because of my limited experience in the field and my strong desire to become more exposed to cutting-edge techniques for analyzing corporate investment and financial decisions, I decided to pursue a higher education level and found myself enrolled as an undergraduate student majoring in Finance and Accounting. I believe that my investment in taking courses at GSU will eventually produce a great positive return. In addition to that, my interest in in-depth study of finance topics will give me a sound footing to launch a successful career.

I started my MS Finance in January 2002. I expect my graduate studies to expose me to many areas of interest, and to provide a practical foundation for the next step in my career. In the next two years, I will have completed my graduate studies and have learned various analytical methods and software applications that will help me secure a desirable position in corporate finance. My knowledge of the markets, financial instrumental and strong analytical know-how skills, combined with my solid modeling skills will enable me to provide enormous value for my company. My solid financial analysis and reasoning will then be applied to problems faced by executives in marketing, operations, and personnel from both a domestic and international perspectives. The role that I will be playing essentially falls into the facilitation of the process of value creation for the organization. As a key member of the financial officers, I see myself intimately involved in hashing out the company's strategic plans, analyzing capital budgeting projects, and long-range financial planning.
